Shepherd T. Moves to protect unborn babies set to spark debate [Internet]. news.com.au; 2013 [cited 2014 Mar 23]. Available from: http://www.news.com.au/lifestyle/parenting/moves-to-protect-unborn-babies-set-to-spark-debate/story-fnet08xa-1226554546945

Problem - The fate of the unborn child is significantly influenced by modifiable behaviours of the mother. These outcomes lie on a spectrum from still birth to life long health consequences. Despite medical advances for causation in this area, poor health outcomes of children remain globally.

Aim - To provide children with the best biological start in life by raising awareness of the importance of maternal health.

Every child deserves an equitable start in life. This starts before birth. Maternal health matters.
